Is my wife. I have a lot of nice things, but at the end of the day, everything else is just stuff. Yes, even cars. If you find someone that you can’t live without, and Not that you would die for, but that you would walk through fire and make sure you come out the other side still whole enough to spend another day with her. Then do everything you can to keep them.

Wives are pretty good. Mine is fun to hang out with, doesn't give me shit when I bring home some piece of junk to wrench on (even though I kinda wish she would save me from myself), is a great mom, and is good to look at as well. I have no complaints.

I married a human not a sheep. I don’t need to lead her boldly.

But yeah wives are good.

She leads me when I need it to. Part of the job of husband and wife is to lead each other when the way gets dark.

You too. Always good to hear about other people who are happy in their marriages, since it's kinda popular to bitch about it.

Miss Tesla is the best thing about life. She keeps me going, and there is nothing better than coming home and falling into sweet warm embrace. <3

Do you have multiple personality disorder? It’s really hard to lead someone and serve them at the same time, maybe you are JESUS!!! WE ARE SAVED!!! THE RAPTURE HAS BEGUN!!!

Servant leadership is kind of a thing right now in some management models, especially with the younger generations. Traditional, domineering leadership tells people what to do, servant leadership asks how they can help their subordinates to be successful. Servant leadership is knowing I’m the one who gets up and checks on weird noises in the night, or smooshing crawly things for the missus, and yet being expected to set the path (with inputs) for our family.

Absolutely. Whenever I hear guys complain about their marriage when I know they have a good one, it really irks me.

Do you not know how to lead by example? If you want to talk about Jesus, then he lead by example in his treatment and service to those less fortunate.

If I killed your joke, I’m sorry. You seemed pretty bent out of shape about my sweet inspirational poster.

It doesn’t work for everyone. Usually because one or both of the parties aren’t ready for it. One of my best friends started a marriage about a year before mine, and She couldn’t bring herself to commit to only him. It tore him up and I hate to see people go through it.

Damn skippy. My wife is awesome. She’s tough when she needs to be, and sweet as can be when that’s what we need instead. She’s a hell of a mother, and a damn good partner to me. Life is so much easier when somebody has your back.

It really is. My wife always makes sure I know she’s with me 100%, and it just makes life easy, even when it’s tough.

Yep. She picks up the slack when I’m not at full speed, and I do the same for her. We’re a team.

Could not agree more with the beginning context of this thread as well as the horrible attitude of garden variety, mouth breather husband’s who rail and complain about their wives.

My wife is a raging inferno of mood swings, random fights, missed dinners, and ignored house duties. She’s also 35 weeks pregnant, so I guess I can cut her a little slack. But just a little. Heh.

Jesus also taught to be humble, and it appears you aren't that. You seem quite proud of your ability to lead by example, making posters about it for the internet to see. So humble. I'd take all that time you waste praying and actually do something for your wife, and maybe the kids in Africa you also pray for. Go build a house or work at a soup kitchen and stop praying to an asshole who created hell and tortures those he supposedly "loves".
